instructor proficiency certificate

You study at KIT and want additional qualification in Education topics? Therefore, the institute of vocational education and training offers the instructor proficiency certificate (AdA) following the AEVO. The certificate enables you to cope with tasks in the initial and further education as well as in the human recources departement.

The supplementary course can be the preparation for the engineering education course, where certificates of courses of business pedagogics and computer science can be recognized. Furthermore you can choose a second subject, which could be maths, physics, sports or economics. So, you can get the degree Ingenieurpädagoge/-pädagogin(B.Sc./M.Sc.). After that, a 18 months term of "Referendariat" at a vocational school is possible.

Graduates can not only work at vocational schools, but also in non-school vocational initial and further education, as well as in appropriate administration- and management jobs in the free economy. (human resourcess, further education, administration of vocational education and training, research on vocational education and training).

The certificate qualifies to train apprentices in the main subject of your course. You can do the certificate course-related. By paragraph 21 of the german law for vocational training a professional competence, consisting of vocational and pedagogical skills, is necessary.
