Night of Science on November 21 - Experience research in an understandable and exciting way!
On November 21, the Night of Science university group is once again inviting you to a special event: for an entire night, popular science lectures from a wide range of subject areas will be presented in the Tulla and Redtenbacher halls at TRIANGEL in an understandable and entertaining way - with free admission!
From meteorology to materials science and artificial intelligence to film research, there is something for everyone. Food and drink will also be provided - there will be focaccia, cake, mulled wine and other treats in the foyer.
A special highlight awaits visitors at 23:00:
Dr. habil. Martin Schwarz, Academic Senior Councillor and Professor of Vocational Education at our Chair, will talk about the myths and truths of vocational education in his lecture "Pedagogy in the workplace - between facts and legends".
He will show how important adult and continuing education really is in companies, how much money is invested in company learning processes - and will dispel some common misconceptions. An exciting look into the "corporate education fairytale forest" that you shouldn't miss!
