Mentoring program
The mentoring program accompanies the initial period of study. Students in higher semesters act as mentors to the first-year students. A mentoring program exists for the following degree courses: Engineering Education (B.Sc.), Engineering Education for Engineers (M.Ed.) and for the degree course in Education (B.A.).

BIB, SCC and HOC
These abbreviations refer to KIT institutions. In addition to concrete offers of help with the study account or similar, these institutions also offer workshops and learning opportunities. These can be recognized as additional services during your studies.
- House Of Competence (HOC) (cross-course teaching/learning offers)
- Library (BIB) (assistance with borrowing books and account management as well as learning opportunities on the subject of academic work/research)
- Scientific Computing Center (SCC) (assistance with working with the KIT online tools, the student account and software store for students)
Student Council for Humanities and Social Sciences
The student council is the mouthpiece for student issues at the faculty. It is the point of contact for student problems of all kinds.

The AStA informs students about legal and social issues as well as international affairs and equal opportunities.
