New Year's reception 2026

Last Thursday, the Institute of Vocational Education hosted the New Year's Reception 2026, which brought together school management, teaching staff, KIT employees and external interested parties.

On January 23, 2026, the Department of Vocational Education at KIT hosted a New Year's reception. The target group was school management, teaching staff, KIT employees and interested members of the degree program. The buffet offered a varied selection of finger food, including mini quiches, sandwiches, vegetable crudités with dip, sushi bites and sweet snacks such as mini tarts; coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juices, mineral and soft drinks as well as a small wine and beer area were also provided.

Many thanks to the Association for the Promotion and Development of Vocational Education at KIT and the Seminar for Training and Further Education of Teachers Karlsruhe. Both partners supported the event both financially and organizationally and thus contributed significantly to the success of the event.

Outlook

The successful start to the new year strengthens networking within the vocational education community at KIT. We see the reception as the foundation for further specialist events and future New Year's receptions, which should further promote exchange and cooperation.
