The current vocational orientation in secondary modern schools (BORS) is to be expanded beyond one-off decisions on vocational orientation and career choice in the direction of active and continuous shaping of the vocational biography. The project's contribution therefore aims to initiate or expand the development of career biographical shaping skills in secondary school pupils so that they can (better) master status passages and risk situations in the course of their professional lives.

Project objective
The development and testing of a modular teaching-learning arrangement for the promotion of vocational biographical skills on the basis of an empirically founded task inventory and a task-related didactic concept as well as taking into account the newly introduced competence analysis Profile AC at Realschulen.
