Contributions from our department at gtw workshops as part of the GfA Spring Congress
As part of the workshops of the gtw (Working Group on Commercial and Technical Sciences and their Didactics) at the spring congress of the Gesellschaft für Arbeitswissenschaft e.V. (GfA) in Aachen, the Department of Vocational Education of the KIT was represented with two technical contributions.
1. in-company training personnel: diversity of tasks
Speaker: Martin Schwarz
The contribution examined the specific tasks of in-company continuing education personnel from an empirical perspective. The focus was on questions such as:
- Do in-company training personnel in different companies deal with similar tasks?
- To what extent are tasks company-specific?
- How do these activities differ from tasks in genuinely pedagogical fields of activity?
2. further training for in-company trainers in the context of vocational learning factories
Speaker: Martin Schwarz
The second contribution offered a curricular perspective from the InnoVET PLUS project Lernfabriken@BeruflicheBildung (BMBF). It was discussed,
- how a modular structure consisting of compulsory, elective and specialization modules can be designed for a university certificate,
- how an exchange between vocational teachers and company training staff can be promoted,
- and how education and training can be more closely integrated in order to open up institutional boundaries.
