Mentoring program
The mentoring program in the Engineering Education course at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) supports students in successfully starting and progressing their studies. The aim of the program is to promote exchange between students, to provide orientation in everyday study life and to support students with questions about their studies and organization.
As part of the program, experienced students (mentors) accompany younger semesters and act as contact persons for them. They provide insights into their own study experiences, share helpful tips on organizing their studies and support them in finding their way around KIT and the Engineering Education degree program.
The regular exchange offers the opportunity to clarify questions about studying, discuss challenges at an early stage and benefit from the experiences of others. At the same time, a network is created within the degree program, which strengthens the exchange and cooperation between students.
The mentoring program thus helps to make it easier for students to start their studies, promote motivation to study and support students throughout their studies.
