International Buddy Program

The International Buddy Program at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) helps international students to quickly find their feet at KIT and in their new environment. The aim of the program is to facilitate the start of studies and to promote intercultural exchange between international and local students.

As part of the program, international students are brought together with KIT students who, as so-called "buddies", are the first points of contact. For example, they help with orientation on campus, give tips on everyday student life and provide support in settling into the city and university life.

In addition to individual support, the program also offers the opportunity to make new contacts, get to know different cultures and make international friends. This creates a valuable exchange of study and life experiences for all participants.

The International Buddy Program thus makes an important contribution to the integration of international students and to the promotion of an open and international campus community at KIT.
