Shaping the future: AG-BFN symposium 2026 in Stuttgart

Karlsruhe, 19.03.2026

Under the conference motto "Future-oriented vocational education and training: using the opportunities of transformation for innovation", over 100 participants gathered to receive inspiring impulses, make their own contributions and take part in the discussion. The AG-BFN symposium provided a platform for the exchange of ideas between science, practice and politics. The AG-BFN is a voluntary association of institutions that contribute to VET research from various scientific disciplines.

Vocational education and training is challenged in many ways because our working and living environments are undergoing profound change. Technological innovations, social developments and ecological transformation present VET with new challenges and at the same time open up opportunities for development.

We would like to thank all participants for the inspiring conference and the enriching and lively discussions in the plenary, in the sessions and during the breaks.
