Retirement ceremony at KIT Campus North

On March 18, 2026, the ceremonial farewell to employees entering retirement took place in the Casino of the North Campus at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

Our long-standing colleague from the Vocational Education department, Irina Werth, was also honored at this event. KIT expressed its thanks and appreciation for her dedicated and reliable work over many years. The corresponding certificate was presented by Dr. Stefan Schwartze, Vice President for Finance, Human Resources and Infrastructure.

Following the official ceremony, there was an opportunity to celebrate this special occasion together in a pleasant atmosphere and to look back on the retirees' professional careers.

We would like to thank Irina warmly for her many years of support and commitment to our department and wish her all the best, good health and many fulfilling moments in her new phase of life.
