Bachelor of Science

The versatility and practical relevance of the Bachelor's program in Engineering Education is particularly evident in the school internship. One of our students is currently completing this important practical phase at Friedrich-List-Schule, gaining valuable experience in everyday school life.

The school internship is a central component of the course and offers prospective teachers the opportunity to apply the specialist and didactic knowledge they have acquired during their studies directly in practice. From planning and implementing their own teaching units to actively accompanying learning processes - students gradually take on responsibility in the classroom.

In addition to subject-specific teaching, the focus is on developing pedagogical skills and dealing with different learning requirements. At the same time, students reflect on their own role as a teacher and gain confidence in presenting themselves to classes.

This close interlinking of theory and practice prepares students specifically for their future career in the teaching degree. The school internship thus makes a decisive contribution to the professional development of future teachers in the Division of Engineering Education.
